Hi Everybody,
Joining you from Maine.
I have been the last ten months or so,building a smoker from an old safe.
We have eaten from it a handful of times.just did a brisket this weekend with okay results.
I'll be sure to show off the smoker in the smoker section.

Welcome aboard from southern Maine. I'm in Bridgton. What part of the state are you in?

Mosey over to roll call when you have time and tell us about yourself.

Hi Lamar,

I am in Portland.  We spend most of our summers in Bridgton at Lakeside pines.

Last year for a camping trip I borrowed a friends Brinkman Smoke n grill.  I was able to pull off some decent meals but there really was little control over that smoker.

I prompted me to build a smoker and it just so happens I had a safe that I was not using.

Hi there,

I'm new here from Maine as well. I'm in Waterboro. My husband and I just got a smoker in May and have been having fun experimenting with it. My favorite thing so far has been a whole smoked chicken with a brine I found from this site.
