hey guys!My name is Kevin and I live on Whidbey Island in Washington state. I am an experienced homebrewer and newbie smoker! I recently got a masterbuilt digital smoker and have had some success with it! So far I've done chicken thighs, ribs, pork butt, and brisket. All were very tasty, even though part of the brisket came out a tad dry (the flat).Anyway, I look forward to learning some more about my new hobby from some of the more experienced folks out there.thanks

Good evening and welcome to the forum, from a cloudy and warm day here in East Texas. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about  everything.

Welcome Kevin! You'll find lots of great people here, always happy to help if you need it. I've only been at this little over a year and love it! Sounds like you're getting a lot of good use out of your new toy. I've learned a lot from this site already and have much much more to learn. That's part of the fun-you never stop learning because folks are always thinking up new ways to do things.

Post pictures of your smokes so we can enjoy it with you and help if needed. Happy smokin', David.

Hey John!

I'm a home brewer as well! Smoking must just be the natural next step lol! Good luck to you...and me as I am smoking for the first time this weekend!

Here's to good food and cold beers!
