Now that's the way to do real BBQ.  Just shovel red hot coals in the bottom and keep a watch on it for several hours.

Outstanding!  Simple and very functional.   Only thing missing is the awesome meat that came out of it.    I'm thinking you got a whole hog in there!    Great job!
