Smokin two Fatties today for New Years

One is burger w/ cheddar, onions, peppers.  The other is veal/pork w/ sauerkraut, swiss cheese, onions.

 

In the smoker now cooking.  Can't wait!

The Bowl Game revelers made quick work of them both!  The foil was used to keep to keep them from falling thru the grill and did prevent the underside bacon from fully browning.  :th_crybaby2:

 

But everyone was very pleased with the result - although it did take awhile to reach 170* IT in 30 degree weather. 

I may consider an upgrade to the heating element?  My MES 30 Digital had to work hard to get up to 250* temp setting.
