maverick et 733 waterproof?

Can someone tell me if this is waterproof? I can't find anywhere that says is/isnt!

Pighog , hello . I Think it is suppose to be somewhat waterproof , however I take no chances with mine...

 

I keep mine in an Ammo Box and in ziplocks when rainy outside...

 

With the new Q-Bana , I won't need to anymore. :biggrin:

A am not sure if they are water PROOF but mine have certainly been left out in the rain accidentally during a smoke without any problems. If it looks like rain though I just tuck them in a plastic bag which does the trick.

Unless it sez 'waterproof' things never are. Not even water resistant unless stated. be that as it may.....I've left mine out under the porch in rainy PNW weather with no ill effects. I would say though..the probes are definitely not happy being submerged in water to be washed off. Best to wipe down probes immediately after removal, clean off with a alcohol wipe and call it good....Willie
