Hi new guy here,   I live in a real log cabin in the mountains of North Georgia.  We moved here after I took early retirement from my 32 year career in the Florida orange juice industry.  I have been grilling and smoking meat for a long time I used to use and Imperial Kamado, the original big green egg.  After many years of service it is just to fragile to use much any more but it still looks good on the deck.  I ordered a Pit Barrel smoker after reading many reviews it sounds like it should do the trick.  I can't wait for it to get here maybe in the next week or two.  I am really looking forward to putting some meat on the smoker and hanging out on the deck with my wife and dog. I will either be playing my guitar, listening to some tunes on the stereo or just enjoying the seclusion of living in the mountains.

Finally , someone who understands the correct way to Smoke
