First, I dont own a smoker.
Any suggestions? I'd ideally like to start cheap, in case its not something I find myself enjoying to do. Also I'd like something easily portable to take to the cabin, which doesnt have electric.
When smoking fish, does it cook the whole way through? Im just curious about refreezing it then.
I just returned from canada with some nice northern fillets and still have some salmon and lake trout fillets from last spring. Im excited to get started.
