Hello, I'm Bobby. Native Texan but lived in Tulsa area for 23 years and recently moved back to Fort Worth. I've been smoking meats for 35 years. My father and I once owned a catering truck and subsequently a BBQ restaurant in Willow Springs. "Fat Mikes BBQ". That was many, many years ago. We built a "backyard" smoker for personal use in 1979 and I still have it. I'm currently doing an RF conversion on it and have posted a new thread titled "RF Conversion" if anyone wants to see it. I gained a lot of good building info from this site so I just wanted to share what I was doing.
