Beef looks wierd?

So im letting some corned beef sit in water in my fridge for 2 days now to get saltness out of the meat and the meat looks pale? is that normal?

Yep...The water can dissolve some of the color, Myoglobin protein that makes meat red, as the meat soaks. Nothing to worry about...JJ

I have a neighbor that looks weird!  He's pale lookin', too.  I stay away from him.
