I know these old smokers are so outdated but I love using them mainly for smoking Salmon and other fish. One on the left has a 1000w adjustable burner while right one is still original but continues to produce. This past weekend I had too much Salmon to fit in just one smoker so out came the other one to play for the day.

Finish product = Salmon nuggets

More nuggets - Yumm!  Those Big Chief smokers can be real workhorses

Looks great! I wish I didn't sell my last big chief! It was a work horse when I was in the fishing business!

Those nuggets are beautiful......   

My Totem/Chief does fish better than any other smoker I've tried.....   I hauled it to Alaska and smoked salmon on the seiner..... hauled it in the camper and smoked trout/salmon all over Washington....    Some things are built to do one job perfect... and those smokers are perfect for fish...      Nice job.....

Thanks.   Tomorrow am I'm getting up at 2am to go Salmon fishing with the Mrs.   Yes, I'm bringing a bunch of the nuggets to share amongst the fishing crew.
