Hi. New member here from New Jersey. I guess I am kind of a "foodie" (but hopefully not the obnoxious kind). I have been smoking on and off for the last ten years or so. I stated with a Brinkman water smoker, moved to a side mounted smoker (not sure of the brand). I now have a Cook Shack smoker. I'd love to build a nice pit smoker but have neither the space or time (or skills). Actually I probably have the space but I'm pretty sure the neighbors would not be happy.
Just started getting interested in curing meat and cold smoking. I actually found this site while looking for advice on building a cold smoker.
