Hi. New member here from New Jersey. I guess I am kind of a "foodie" (but hopefully not the obnoxious kind). I have been smoking on and off for the last ten years or so. I stated with a Brinkman water smoker, moved to a side mounted smoker (not sure of the brand). I now have a Cook Shack smoker. I'd love to build a nice pit smoker but have neither the space or time (or skills). Actually I probably have the space but I'm pretty sure the neighbors would not be happy.

Just started getting interested in curing meat and cold smoking. I actually found this site while looking for advice on building a cold smoker.

I'd be happy to tell you all more. Feel free to getting touch.

Welcome to the forums! Glad you've joined us. You've found a great place to learn and share ideas on our favorite pastimes...grilling, smoking, and curing great food!
