Hey...Live from a Northern Suburb of Houston...Kingwood, Texas..."The Livable Forest"  My family has been smokin Q in East Texas since the early 1900's. I've been perfecting my technique, rubs and Texas Q Sauce for the last year and I'm ready to compete!!! I think my first competition will be in San Marcos, Tx Sept 20-21, 2013.  I have a barrel smoker with a offset firebox. I like to smoke with a combination of Pecan, Cherry and Apple. I have a love for the culinary arts in general and fancy myself quite the "chef"...but I have a gift for smokin!!! As a woman breaking into the biz...I'm gonna  give some of them ol boy's a run for their money!!!
