Hi All!  After wintering here for a decade, I've finally made the move to northern NV.  I've never had BBQ that's worth the time up here, and even the locals couldn't point me to any that they really love.  After going back and forth with my good friend and pitmaster Will Salhi in Chicago about how he could ship me out my favorite vittles, we decided it would be better if I just got a smoker and figured out how to make it work here a mile high in the mountains.  He pointed me toward a Traeger, and that's what's sitting in my new yard waiting for it's maiden rack of ribs - which will go in next week!  Looking forward to lots of help and suggestions from the SMF crew!
