Last Sunday was the first time I used Kingsford Original.

I used the minion method, but I also tossed one chunk of wood in the can (which I won't do next time). It took close to 1.5hrs for the white smoke to clear. I'm sure that chunk of wood created some white smoke but that can't be a normal amount of time or is it?

Home Depot doing the same thing if you don't have Lowes near you.

Yes they are, but, around here the sale price is $12.98 if I remember right.

I put this on one of the other charcoal sale threads... It's on sale at Sam's Club as well... $9.99 for the 2- 20's

HD sale was $12 something on their "Spring Black Friday Sale".  The adds around here show $9.88 (11 cents cheaper than Lowes) for the Memorial Day sale.  Wonder if they still do the 30 day lower price difference thing?

It didn't go smoothly but I ended up buying 5 X 2/20lbs bags after work.

Told a friend at work about the sale, he said he'll stop also to buy a couple bags. He got two and I put 5 bags in my cart. We went to different registers..... I was told "the limit is two on these" and she wouldn't budge. I got a bit ticked and said, well, then I don't want any of them and walked away. Went over to say bye to my friend and told him I'm going to another store. I'm sitting in my car looking up a phone number for another store, when my phone starts ringing..... it's my friend. He says the lady at his register was asking what was wrong, so he told her. She says, I'll sell it to him, " the limit is two bags, but sometimes we can work around that".

biggrin.gif  No... my tattoo wasn't good enough of an ID, this time. She told me I can have some type of symbol or something put on my drivers license when I renew it.
