I smoked my first ever, anything, pork butt, in my first ever smoker. . .Got so carried away with it that I forgot the Q-view.
I used Jeff's Naked Rub, cooked it at around 250, for 9 1/2 hours, to an internal of 200. Double foiled it at 165 internal, spritzed with a little apple juice. Unfoiled it and couldn't believe the amount of juices that were there.
Pulled apart with my fingers, served with my favorite KFC coleslaw.
I'm hooked.
