Hey Hey Hey! My smoking "hobby" was renewed yesterday when I had to replace my old indirect smoker of 12 years. Just got a Longhorn Indirect and am ready to go again. The other one fell apart! Looking at a MES too but shhh don't tell the wife ;) I am from Shoreline, WA (just North of Seattle) and have been smoking for about 15 years. Mostly Ribs and Chicken, occasionally Salmon. Found this site while looking for smoker recommendations and have been fixated on it for a couple days. LOTS of awesome info!!!! When I started it was word of mouth recipes and books. Now it's internet forums and Kindle books, go figure! Oh how things have changed. Smoke on!! My name is Ken, they call me "Tater".
