So, going to smoke two 5# prime ribs tomorrow, this will be the first time smoking a primey. I saw a couple threads from Bear which look great, just wondering if there is anything I should look out for or any hints. I'll probably smoke one to 140 and another to 150 or so because there are some women who are afraid of the pink.

Prime rib is a real easy and straight-forward smoke, for the most part.  You can't go wrong if you follow Bear's technique.  I've read those threads too, and he's a pro!

Good luck, and please post Qview!

Figured as much, I'll post some pics of the process and product. I may just take them both off at 140 and then slice, put them on grill for a little to get rid of the pink for the lady folk.

Doing a sear after slicing works great! Make sure and let the roasts rest prior to slicing. post some pics of tour results!l
