Been thinking about getting back into the smokin hobby and found this amazing site. Figured I would sign up and see if I can learn some tips before I take the plunge again. Its been quite a few years since I attempted to smoke anything, but the itch is starting to come back.

I still have my old Big Chief top load smoker buried in my shed but I will be upgrading to something more user friendly. That is my problem though, there is very little to choose from around here unless you want a Bradley or pay high shipping costs out of the states. If there are any Alberta members here I would be very interested to hear what you are using and where you purchased it.

I am looking forward to jumping back into the hobby and learning from all the experience shared here.
