I have to say that my experience with the customer service team at Masterbuilt just keeps getting better.  Earlier this year they sent me a smoke tray upgrade at no charge for my MES 40" Glass 1200w. This last week while smoking a brisket ( See the Beef Forum Smoking a Brisket in Texas) I noticed that the left LED light began to blink and then went out. If I pushed down on the display it would work. 

This smoker is about 3 years old. Well out of warranty. I called Customer service on Monday.  They asked if the attaching wires to the controller were black and white or multi colored and waited on the phone while I removed the 2 screws to check.  Mine are multi.

The nice lady on the other end of the line had my info in the system from the previous tray upgrade. Well they sent me a new control that arrived yesterday in time for the Sunday smoke! . NO CHARGE.  For a unit that 3 years old? Seriously Masterbuilt?

Folks I know those of you that bought some of the newer units have been disappointed. Hopefully the have improved whatever was wrong with that new design...

BUT in todays time I'm hard pressed to find another company that I've done business with that has as good of service after the sale as MarsterBuilt.
