Coffee Rubbed Brisket W / Q-VIEW

Is there a specific recipe for the cowboy rub? I would love to try that on my next brisket.
theres a couple out there floating around from what ive seen, mine i just decided to try out the prepackaged one from the grocery store from McCormack i believe. its about $3 if i remember correctly, and worth every dime..hehe

McCormick's makes the Cowboy Rub (coffee in it)...you can find it at the Grocery Stores in the Spice section.  I used it on a pork butt and it was really good.

I am at work and not at home or I would tell ya.  It has the normal rub goodies...salt, pepper, sugars, garlic and the like.  It's not a dark rub...its almost an orange one.  But the hint of coffee does pop thru.

yes its very good...made short ribs and baby backs last night with it..awesome..

oh yeh, love how youre at work and on a forum...hahaha...me too, sometimes in the airforce its a good day to be on a forum learning about smoked goodness...
