Hello all and thanks for letting me lurk here for the last week.  I am in Whittier, CA and I bought my very first smoker, just an electric model that was super cheap so I could make some bacon.  Really, I think I might be in trouble now.

I just finished my first smoke about 15 minutes ago.  I smoked two slabs of bacon and an 8 pound Costco Sirloin roast.  I'm at 138 degrees after pulling at 135.  I just want to say an advance thank you all for your kind bits of advice.

I look forward to seeing you all around :)
