Hi everyone,

My name is Chaz from Virginia. I am interested in getting into smoking. I do not currently own a smoker, but am trying to talk the wife into after tax time. I am gonna try to learn all I can before deciding what kind of smoker I want. I love all kinds of meat and smoking is the only way I can't cook it right now.

I also enjoy hunting, so maybe I can smoke some of the game meat I bring home. Anyway, that's mostly what I am interested in, hopefully I will learn a lot here.

to SMF Chaz!  You have come to the right place to do some research.  I would look around and talk to the members about what they own and how they like theirs.  Everyone will give you their 2 cents worth.  You need to find the one that would suit you and your family!

Would you mind updating your profile to include where in VA you are?  This way some of the folks can help you find that perfect smoker for your area.

Just updated my profile. I am signed for the eCourse. So far it seems very helpful, especially since I know almost nothing about smoking.
