15 lbs (before trimming) of eye round.

12 3/4 lbs (after trimming)

Didnt feel like pulling the grinder motor out and the jerky slicer so i slice by hand.

In the fridge for tonight and tomorrow i will get this ready to go.

Jerky is going to Ghazni Province Afghanistan. He wants it hot so got some Habanero powder to put in the marinade.

My Bradley smoker had a heating element failure (no biggie it happens) I have a back up element somewhere.

 

Anyways

 

I had to use my old Equi-Flo

Whew finally done.

 

I think my 20 year old dehydrator is starting to slow down. The jerky was in all night and i had to rotate many times.

Those look amazing.  I haven't done jerky yet.  Send a message from all of us...THANK YOU for your service.  I used to send my fudge to the guys when my Son was in.  Sent some to Korea, Iraq and Kabul.  They loved it...know these guys are going to love that!
