Thank you to all, paid and volunteer, that respond 24/7 when needed. What happened today to the first responders 15 minutes from home is uncalled for. No one should rush out of their house in the early hours of the morning to help someone only to be shot and killed.

I could not agree with you more. The men and woman of our first responders choose to put their lives on the line every day to protect complete strangers. With the actions of a few idiots out there, now I am sure they will start to second guess before they do anything. Truely a sad day for our society.

What's really sad is this is going to turn into another gun debate. It isn't about that. This guy should have never been back in the free world. He killed his grandmother by beating her in the head with a hammer 38 times. Killers can't be rehab'd But hopefully the justice system can.

I would like to take this time to thank all of our vets and first responders.

This saddens me, and it makes me very angry!

We have nut cases out there.  Unfortunately we also have some very evil people out there!

Take care of your families and loved ones.

Be safe!

Good luck and good smoking.
