BBQ Comps?

Anyone know of any BBQ competitions that go on throughout the state?  Even if they are small in size I would be interested in going to one to learn some and take in the atmoshpere.  I googled it and only found one up in kingsford and one that was in G.R. this year.

I know Lockhart's BBQ down in Royal Oak had a competition back in October, but I didn't get a chance to check it out. I'll do some more research and see what I can find. Thanks.

Im curious about that.  Sorry for being gone so long.  My son had surgery then I got sick, getting ready to have number 2 in Febuary.  Needless to say im itching to get smoking.

Thanks HANDYMANSTAN!  I would really like to go and check it out.  Only a little over an hour away from my house.  Plus I have a buddy that lives up on Old Mission, and uncle in town.
