Sad news in a CT Elementary School today. (probably shouldn't have posted this)

I cant imagine not having my Children or Family members around during the Holidays due to a tragedy like this. If you haven't heard...look at the News.  28 people....supposedly half were children are dead from a Shooting in an Elementary School.  Sending prayers and thoughts for those in the situation.

I do support Gun rights....but not to go and solve a stupid problem with one.

It's just senseless!  IMHO.

Just hug your kids and family a bit closer today...and from now on.  Never know when something will happen.  Not trying to be a doomsday person.  Just sad for the little children (and others) who were killed...and the others who are scared by the events.

I have two of my four grandbabies at the house right now (the other two are in bound) while cooking a nice standing rib roast for a guest appearance of the big man tonight. We do this early at Nana and Pawpaw's so they are at their own homes for the big morning.  Can't imagine how the moms and dads, grandmas and grandads will feel Christmas morning without those babies to open the gifts under the tree.  I just can't understand how someone can do this to kndergardeners.  I mean -- they're so cool!

My Daughter wants to be an Teacher (going to UNA right now).  I just hope that she would have the grace to know what to say to those children in her class.....(if she had been there...thank God she isnt). Also...the smarts to know what to do to protect the ones in her care.

It can be anywhere....the mall...in a home...any where.

Just think of the children who remain and what they will be going thru in their little minds right now.  Bless their hearts!
