HI everyone,
My Name is Scott, I live in Plymouth mass, and I look forward to reading everyones postings, and learning as much as I can !
I have a weber bullet charcol smoker and a Brinkmann gas grill with a small ( and not very good ) smoker box built onto the side.
I am not new to griling, but smoking is fairly new to me. I am learning as I go, and making mistakes as well.
Some of my mistakes taste better than others though! :)
I love to grill, and smoking is fast becoming my favorite method. I also have a home made "spit"
That I use over my open firepit in my backyard. I use the spit from the brinman grill and I made two posts that are on either side of the fire. I use the small motor from the gas grill and low ,slow cook meats, and chicken over dryt oak.
My santa list is an electric smoker, and a heavier ( cast iron ?? ) set up for the firepit.
Steve Rachlin (sp) is my hero..
Thnaks for letting me rant!
