Thanks all for compiling a website with how-to info on smoking. My father-in-law set me up with a new Masterbuilt Electric Smokehouse as a Christmas gift. My chore is to season the smoker and have it ready for use before the big day. One of the family traditions is BBQ beef brisket, I would love to smoke it this year. I will take any suggestions you kind folks might have with regard to seasoning the smoker and the meat. In the meantime enjoy you day and if you are in a place the is cold (Like here in Huntsville, Al) stay warm!!! Cheers...
