Hi All:

Well, we had a few cost over-runs, but she's finally finished. I've included some pics as well as one of my trial smoking of chicken breasts wrapped in bacon. Thanks again for the input!

Gary

I welcome your comments and questions. It was a fun project, but I'm glad to be smoking finally. Doing tri-tip this weekend.......yummm.

Looks sweet! I like the racks.

As for cost overuns, I almost choked, I was laughing so hard. My estimated $200 smoker eventually cost me $600+. But they're well worth it when you get them up and runnning.

Gary, My-O-My..... She's a beauty.... and she looks like she can cook..... who cares what it costs.....

awsome looking smoker.

i just got a commercial freezer and cant figure out wether to shell out 250-300 for a compressor or turn it into a smoker.

Looks great.  A smokehouse like that is on my list of to do's.  What kind of temps were you able to get with your burner?   Is that one of the burners from Northern Tool?  Sorry for all the questions....

That is beautiful! While it may have cost more than planned, you built it! That alone makes it Priceless not to mention I would bet your's will out last a Half Dozen of the Crap Smokers built in China! Best of Luck...JJ
