I am going to smoke a brisket at home before heading to a tailgate and had a question.

If I smoke the meat and then warp it in tinfoil and place it in a styrofoam cooler will it be ok for a few hours?

Going to leave around 11:00am for the drive and then plan on eating at the tailgate around 3:00pm. Is that to long to leave the brisket wrapped in tinfoil and in the cooler? Putting it in the cooler is that more like steaming it at the end for those fews hours and ruining it?

Thanks
