I know I have not been around much as of late with long work hours and Sandy recovering from her car accident.  Just wanted to let all know we are alive and fine.  Sandy is working but by the end of the day she is pretty beat.  She is still under medical care and we expect a full recovery of her back and hips with time.

Since I am working 10-12 hr days and coming home to do the heavy work around the house for her, not much time to do anything but get us something to eat, take care of the dogs, and get to bed.  Sandy is off all perscription pain meds now and using over the counter pain meds when needed.  Sometimes something to take the edge off is all she needs to get to sleep in the evening.  Saturday we both were so tired of being tired we decided to go into town to our favorite salt water fish shop to look around and just be out.  She felt pretty good and with so much overtime I took her to Sullivans in BR for a great steak and Crab Cake dinner.

I felt a bit guilty dropping that much jack but sometimes ya just gotta say what the hell!  It is early Sunday morning now and I got up with her dogs to walk them and let my lovely wife sleep in.  All is getting better.

I'm glad to hear that things are getting better with Sandy. I know the feeling about not being around much. Life moves on and all good things will return. I keep hoping to get back into the swing of things myself. Good luck and thanks for the update.

Thanks for checking in Rick. Give Sandy a hug for us and a big one from us to you.  Hope you both get a little relief soon!

nice to see ya stopping in.......hope sandy's recovery is as quick as can be.

Good to hear from you Rick!

Best wishes for her continued recovery.

I remember when caring for my wife that I learned real quick how much work she had been doing around the house!
