I am sure some of you have already found and use this site, but I just discovered it and LOVE it!

http://www.epicurious.com/

There are a couple of things I really like about it:
  • TON'S of recipes! Even a whole section on eating healthy!
  • If you creat a user login you can then save recipes to your recipe box.
  • From your recipe box you can then print a grocery shopping list of one or several recipes.
  • Read the user reviews! They have some great tips for each recipe.
What's really cool about this site is that it has a lot of great recipes from all over the world that get you using a lot of grains, lentils, and veggies that you might not normally use. Lots of new flavors profiles to try - and many are low sodium (compared to some of our normal cooking... lol).

Last night I made braised chicken with moroccan spices, served over cous-cous with dates and toasted almonds! Was fantastic!

If you have kids a fun thing to do is to save a bunch of recipes to your box and then let them each pick one or two to help out with. We go to the grocery store with the shopping list and I let my girls pick out the ingredients for their recipe, then I let them help to cook it.

I also am starting to get some great ideas for adding flavors to meats for the smoker without using a lot of salt or sugar. Hope you guys get a chance to check it out.
