I have been wanting to try Beef ribs for a long time so today I did it. Publix only had 1 pack of them and they were cut up, not a rack. I asked the girl behind counter and she said that is all they had so I bought them and a rack of Baby backs.
The beef ribs I just coated with olive oil then added salt, pepper, and garlic powder to all sides. The baby backs olive oil and the normal rub I use, only about 30 minutes prior to putting them on the smoker. I smoked with Cherry wood as it seems to be my favorite. When I foiled them I realized I was out of apple juice, all I had was white grape so I used a 1/4 cup of that in each foil package. I normally add BBQ sauce on the last hour but today decided to do them naked and put the sauce on the side to dip in.
Did the 2-2-1 method on them and have to say the beef ribs are awesome! Here are some pictures.
