Hi all from Murrieta, California! It's a clear sunny day here today. Temps are in the low 70's

I am total newb. I have never smoked anything before but that is about to end soon. I just pulled the trigger on the Masterbuilt 30" Electric Smokehouse together with some apple and hickory wood chips from Amazon. In the mean time, I have been reading extensively here and have signed up for the eCourse also.

I would like to produce some tasty yet healthy eats with this purchase. I am trying to lose weight in the process.

First off welcome To SMF. You'll like this place for there are alot of good folks here that would just love to help with just about anything to do with smoking meat. So you will find alot of good advice, techniques, and recipes here for some really great smoked goods. So if you are really new to smoking meat then I would recommend that you take the E-Course for free and it will give you the basics of smoking meat. So with all that said all you need to do is go out and get something to smoke and SMOKE it.
