Hi everyone, 

My name is Dave and I've been born and raised in the Hawaiian Islands for all my 46 years. I am about to get a propane smoker and use your experience to help me navigate the fun hobby of smoking. I love grilling and cooking in the kitchen, so looking forward to learning all I can from you all.

First off welcome to SMF there Paul. You'll really like this place for there are a bunch of really good folks here that would just love to help you with just about anything to do with smoking meat. Then if you have any questions you just post them here or yu can try in chat for a faster answer. If you are really new to all of this I would recommend that you look up and take the e-course. It is free and it will also give you the basics on smoking. So with all that said now go and get something to smoke.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys! Just got home with a Master Forge double door unit and will be seasoning it this week sometime. I definitely will be reading the e-course on the basics of smoking meat. 

Just gonna light my cigar now and put it together!
