Onion, Carrots, Celery, Garlic, Baby Portabella Mushrooms all cut up and ready to become ChefJimmy’s Au Jus.

Baby Portabella Mushrooms are not listed in ChefJimmy’s Au Jus, but I love mushrooms, and think they work great in the Au Jus.

I came very close to not making JJ's Au Jus. As we were at the store buying every thing we needed the wife asked why not just buy a can and be done with it? For a second I thought she right but then I told her I just wanted to try. After we tried it we will be making it again, thanks JJ.

Looks-Great.gif nothing better then a good smoked prime rib rare to med rare.  I'm hungry for some prime but it's cost prohibitive here over $10 per when I checked last Monday.

What do you do with the vegetables after you strain them out for the Au Jus?
