Hey everyone. I just got my first smoker early this year, the good ol ECB. Did a few of the mods to it before I even seasoned, and I tell tell you what, I'm impressed with me and the smoker. First rack of ribs came out great. Recently got a free lightly used C-B Silver Smoker from a friend, just need to referb it and do a couple mods over winter and I'll be giving that one a try. Need to get some better temp gauges for both and I should be set. I'll post up some pics in the next day or two when I get the time.

Hello and welcome jeff, to the smf family. You will find great info and from great people. I just joined last night, and already the community has made me feel welcome. It's also nice to see a few okies on here also, as I am in Moore. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family as well as the whole SMF family.

Welcome to SMF my friend! its great to see someone with the good ol 405! (sure miss that area code when stationed in new york). i would recommend the free e-course and joining me in asking the site manager in creating an oklahoma smoking group. so maybe this summer we can all meet up at arbuckle or something and have some good okie BBQ!. happy smokin and great lookin pics!
 
He's a Rotterman, part Rott and part Doberman. We thought we were getting a full blood Rott, but this is how he turned out. Thats what we get for trusting craigslist. But I must say he is a very good dog. Smart, protective, good with our little dog and kids, he does pass gas often which is not too cool, but we love him anyway.
