I just picked up a four pound chicken and am hoping to smoke it tomorrow. I have never done a full chicken in the smoker and I have also never brined. From what I have read there is no going back after trying a brined chicken. I wrote down Slaughterhouse Poultry Brineand thought I would give that one a try as It looks like a few people have really enjoyed it. My question is how long shoudl this chicken brine for?
