Newbie from Miami, need advice help please!

Ok, so I'm a newbie to this forum. I am slowly becoming addicted. I have decided to pull the trigger this weekend on a new machine. I have been searching high and low for a 3605BB everywhere and can't find one. Ok I know this is opinion based but I just wanted to get an idea what everybody feels is the best propane smoker in the 150$-300$ range. If anybody knows where to find a BB please let me know ASAP! I'm ready for a Bacon Fatty!

Welcome to SMF, Glad to have you with us.

This is the place to learn, lots of good info and helpful friendly Members.

Many of our members have years of experience in smoking meat.  They are more than happy helping Newbies learn the art.

We have members who cure there own Bacon, Hams, Jerky, Snack Sticks, Make Their own Sausage, etc. if you want to learn,
this is the place.

Don't be afraid to ask questions of them and follow their advice. You won't be sorry, you will be making great Q in no time at all...

Just remember, when curing your own meats follow the instructions included with the cure to the letter, this is not something to experiment with.

Never use more cure no mater if it is Tender Quick or Cure #1 or Cure #2 than the manufacturer says to use, this can be very dangerous.

Tender Quick and Cure#1 or Cure #2 are not interchangeable, neither Cure #1 interchangeable with Cure #2 or vise versa

It sounds like the GOSM  3605 Big Block  one of our members SQWIB got one. here is a post from him on this smoker

The actual Big Block model number is 3605BGD.  I went to the Landmann site and it is no longer there.  I wonder if it has been discontinued.

I think so, because I have looked around in several places and can't find it. Wound up buying a master built extra wide.
