Yes and No. There aren't any shelters near by. We live up in hte mountains and the closet shelter is over a hour away. We offered people to take the leftovers with them. We also gave some to a few families that we know are struggling. I also took a little home too.

question, how did you contain all the drippings off the pork im surprized it didnt flood your pan and drip into the burner
Rick it took 13 hours to cook them. The GOSM did great. I had to put them in there like a puzzle to make sure I had a little room between them all to allow the heat to get thru. I also rotated them at foiling.
As for help it was mainly just the mrs and me. The mrs had 2 of her aunts come the morning of the even to help with the prep of all the little items and pulling the 9 butt's. During the service we had 1 other friend that helped out. They cut all the treats up for folks to gobble down.
Thanks for all the kind words everyone. Im a firm believer of what goes around comes around. I know that one day I will need help and the folks that i help out will be there for us. Atleast it makes me better thinking that way.
