    the new lid should be the same diameter as the top of the drum, I would think it would fit perfect??? I think I may pick up these two drums anyway. Like you said they are free.

    Thanks for the tips. i just found a place that has drums that had oil in them. I called and will be picking them up this weekend... I'm getting two of them for free.     I will post later what the finish product looks like. Thanks again peeps!!!!

    Would I just power wash the inside and burn it?.....I am all new at this .....and don't want to grow a third eye....lol What do i burn the inside with?
