Well I had this Aug 30 & 31 off of work with the task of cooking for and catering my own wedding reception. Was a massive feat; but was a huge success!!! I wasn't worried about the wedding portion; just wanted to be sure everyone loved my food. Only a few guests knew I was doing the catering...
So Saturday I bought a friends FMD Smoker and did a test run on Sunday.
Fired her up with some Hickory and threw in 3 # of raw garlic tossed with a little EVOO and a dash of salt as well as a tray of Sea Salt and 4 racks of ribs...

With my wedding coming fast (Sept 1) I'm doing all the cooking for it; for about 225 people.

I can fit 8 Butts in that Chubby at 1 time; then after that's done I can do 16 racks of ribs at 1 time

Q Fanatic BBQ is decent and has been on Triple D; ate there many times.
I've heard good things in regards to Big Daddy BBQ as well as StormKing BBQ; but haven't tried them personally.
I was in the same position when I pulled the trigger on my G2 chubby; I feel the price upgrade is worth it.
Absolutely love it; plus the extra room is a bonus for those occasional larger cooks; or even catering.

I have the Chubby G2 and works great for small gatherings as well as large events.

Looking for some idears for either buying or making a raised rolling stand for my Backwoods Chubby G2. I was thinking about going and getting one of those Steel Garden carts with the pneumatic wheels.
If you don't mind sharing some pictures of your stands or roller carts for your cabinet...
