    Normally i use store bought bags of chunk hickory. Now that im building a 250 gallon rig i need to acquire logs. Does it matter what type of hickory i use? I have shag bark hickory trees on my property. Has anyone ever used that type? Is there a commercial source for logs or do i need to strike...

    Hello everyone. I am from pennsylvania and have been smoking on a Chargriller for about 6 years. I am very proud of my ribs and pork chops, but now im about to experiment some. I'm also about to build a pit on a trailer with a 250 gallon oil tank.
