Thanks, I had them in the smoker for about an hour and finished them off on the grill. Ran out of time.

    Smoke or Grill Sausage?

Hi all, I have some store bought chicken sausages which I usually just grill on my Green Egg but its going to be full today. So I thought about putting them in my Masterbuilt propane smoker. I want to cook them with some smoke flavour. I don't want them dried out. What temp should they be...

    Pork Butt Slather?

Update. Sorry no pics but it turned out great. It was the only meat at the party that was almost completely eaten! The bark was slightly sweet and rest tasted like regular pulled pork. It was good, I'd do it again.

    Pork Butt Slather?

I slathered it with apple butter and applied my rub. I injected it with Chris Lily's recipe but added a few splashes of smoked apple ice wine. Hope it turns out ok! :drool I'll try to post some pics of it finished and pulled but I might not be able to since I'm taking to a party tomorrow. I...

    Pork Butt Slather?

Hey all! Most people use yellow mustard if they decide to slather their pork butt before the rub goes on, I've always used mustard. But what about other "slathers"? I was thinking about using apple butter rather than mustard this time. Has anyone used anything other than mustard? Could there be...

    New Years Eve Ribs

Hi all, third smoke in my Masterbuilt two door propane smoker. Smoking some ribs for tonight, will be adding some salmon later. This pic is at the 1.5hr mark, water pan still has lots in it. You can also sort of see the small mod I did to seal the doors a bit, I used some extra felt gasket from...

    Hello From Toronto, Ontario

Hi all, I joined back in November (sorry, missed the Roll Call forum) when I was researching which smoker I wanted. Santa got me the 30" dual door Masterbuilt propane smoker. So far I've done the Christmas dinner ham and 3 racks of habs and red chilies which I did last night during a mini...

    Masterbuilt Owners - S.O.S.

I just sealed my dual door Masterbuilt with some extra Big Green Egg felt gasket I had lying around. I had to cut it in half lengthwise though as it was too wide to fit properly. So far, so good, the self adhesive is holding well and makes a pretty good seal.
