Just received my VacMaster Pro 305

I just received my VacMaster Pro 305 last weekend, and wanted to let everyone know how happy I am with Lisa B's service!  I've been looking at picking up one of these for a while, now but the shipping and duty to Ontario, Canada were too much, so I had to wait for a trip to the US to order...

First timer - St. Louis style ribs

Hi All! Today's the day - my first smoke. I picked up 3 packages of St. Louis style ribs, and put my rub on them last night. They've been in the fridge for 12 hours. So I'm planning on using the 3-2-1 method, and will be getting my smoker up to temp shortly (its a Masterbuilt 2 door propane...

Choosing First Smoker - Masterbuilt vs Master Forge

Thanks for the reply, Ryguy.  I appreciate your feedback. I was at Lowe's on Saturday, and they had the Master Forge set up.  This one had wheels on the back legs to help with moving it around.  It looked reasonably solid - but I don't have anything to compare to...  I think I'll head to Home...

Choosing First Smoker - Masterbuilt vs Master Forge

Hi Folks! I'm new to these forums, but have been reading them for about a week now trying research my first smoker.  I first liked the idea of an electric smoker because of the ability to 'set it and forget it', but after reading a lot of reviews and opinions it appears to me that the...
