I am planning on building my first smokehouse and had some questions about building it out of wood. can you safely smoke at 180 in a wood smokehouse without burning it down? I plan on having a wood stove outside the house for a heat source. Also wondering if regular fiberglass wool insulation will work. Plans are right now 4'x5'x6'tall. Minnesota winters can get cold and thats when i have the most time to use the smoker. Any input would be appreciated

You can definitely run 180 temps in a wood smoke house. There are some great posts here, do some browsing and they will give you some great ideas.
