Marty smoked 2 pork butts on Sunday and I was looking for something new to do with it. I decided that I would take one of favorite chili recipes and replace the chicken with the pork butt. It was great!!! White Pulled Pork Chili 5 can northern beans 8 cups chicken broth 1 tsp chicken bouillon granules 1/2 cup chopped white onion 6-8 garlic cloves minced 7 oz chopped green chilies 2 tsp cilantro 3 tsp ground cumin 2 tsp ground oregano 1 tsp cayenne pepper 2 tsp ground white pepper 5 cups cooked pulled pork (cut into bite size pieces) 1 cup sour cream 3 cups shredded monetary jack cheese Combine beans, broth, and chicken granules in a large pot; simmer covered for about 1hr. Sauté onions in butter until golden brown. Add onions, garlic, cilantro, green chilies cumin, oregano, cayenne pepper, white pepper, and pulled pork to bean mixture. Simmer 30 min. Add sour cream and cheese, heat until cheese is melted. This has a great smoky flavor that is amazing. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.
