I've been gone from the sight for about three weeks. My youngest son was in a car wreck Nov. 1st and wound up in the hospital for almost a week. He's home now and doing pretty good.

Three days after the car wreck with my son, I get a call from my sister n law in Houston, my younger brother had to have emergency brain surgery, he's home now but has a long recovery.

Last but not least, my oldest son was released from the VA hospital after six months. He's doing pretty good but has a long way to go.

We'll hopefully things will start to settle out and I can go back to smole'n again.

Hope all of ya'll have a Happy Thanksgiving, I know I'm go'n to. Somebody above has been look'n out for me this year.

God Bless every one of ya'll

Sounds like it been a rough run Roger. God bless you and yours and may they have a swift and complete recovery!

And to the rest of our SMF members may God be with you and yours as well!

Happy Thanksgiving SMF!

Roger:

Best wishes for all good things for you and your family.

Roger:

I am really glad that you started this thread. I was about to do something like this and then got rushed out the door for our dinner with neighbors.

Your family has surely been tested lately. My prayers go out to you.

I too, have something special to be thankful for.

I finished chemo last Thanksgiving. I am celebrating a year in remission.

I am very thankful to be here sharing Thanksgiving with my new found friends on SMF.

I enjoy and appreciate all of you.
