Smoke Time

    Hey everyone,

    My name is Matt and I have been smoking meat for a little over a year now. Started off with an electric Masterbuilt 30 and have moved up to a converted Smokey Joe charcoal smoker. So far I've made some nice sausages, Boston butts and ribs...looking forward to try some new stuff coming up.


    Im excited to be a part of this site, learn more about smoking meat and eventually contribute.

    Hi Matt and welcome aboard!  Around these forums, your converted Smokey Joe is called a Mini WSM (Weber Smokey Mountain)...and there is an entire sub-forum dedicated to those rigs:

    Lots of really good guys here that use 'em...Browse around over there and you'll find a wealth of info on cooking on a mini.
