  1. Hi guys and gals, I hail from the Orlando area....Go Canes!!! My wife is buying me a WSM 14.5 so i'm very excited about learning how to smoke. I've already watched a ton of videos and done a lot of research and the best bang for your buck to me was the WSM. I'm a first time smoker so i think the 14.5 will serve me properly for now.... I'm in I.T. and usually spend my spare time running my computer company, fixing and building new PCs/servers or setting up my rack, so this is definitely a change of pace, but a much needed one. I will be picking your brains and asking a million questions so i hope that's ok. My plan is to start off smoking a whole chicken and a rack of ribs, then soon after graduate up to brisket and Boston butt. Looking forward to talking to you folks.

P.S. Send some of that cold weather down here!!!

  4. Welcome to the forum. This is a great place to learn and share ideas. The search bar works great for finding info. If you don't find an answer, start a thread and wait for several different answers.

    Smoke it up
